Overcome Self Sabotage
I had two choices SELF-CONFIDENCE OR SELF-SABOTAGE.
Surgical Technology is meticulous work. The training is made to weed out the weak.... rightfully so.
My clinical experience was nothing short of amazing. I could not pass clinical as long as I received help in the O.R. (sidebar- a student is stopped before messing up due to the anticipation and skillset of the trainer)
So I had to tell myself...
Stop "playing it safe". How safe is "it" really?
You either believe in yourself and you do the thing or you don't and remain unchanged....in this case not graduate.
I went from getting 'C's to 'A's in one week.
Self-sabotage can be due to lack of self-worth & self-confidence, fear of success, fear of failure, seeking validation from others, feeling undeserving, etc.
Overcome Self-sabotage by listing the things you feel hold you back. Ask yourself why?
List all the ways you have succeeded in the past. What did that Journey look like? What did you get past to achieve that thing? Why do you feel differently now?
Is your focus fixed on the thing you truly want to accomplish?
The moment you're aware of Self-sabotage...ask yourself
What is the Simplest, Most Positive, and Authentic solution at this moment?
Go within yourself and begin to rediscover the things that serve your spirit/make you happy.
Incorporate more of that into your life to begin shifting your mood and mindset about who you are and what you deserve.
When you focus on Your Truth, Your Value, Your Thing that makes your #Heart-Smile...you show up in the Fullness of the Power from Within.
